ok. pitchfork have declared annies 'heartbeat' the best single of 2004. they are spot on, its wonderful. the fact that its not out till feb'05 is somewhat interesting. but, and its a big but, there is a fantastic royksopp remix available from the official website for all to enjoy. more details : here the other remixes are different. alan braxe, maurice fulton, and maximo park. the maximo being my current fave with its minimal electro spikey-ness. john carpenter noises and annies whispered emotions. i am completeley smitten. on a different vibe altogether - posted reviews/news on the new singles from wrath records. onwards ! mark e ireallylovemusic
