after a period of offline-ism i return to the fray to find that ireallylovemusic has been given a boost in the arm in the form of a nudge up from ian peel in record collector (Jan'05 issue). how bloody chuffed am i ? also, there is an extract from an interview with akira the don to appear in the forthcoming issue of blowback which will provide miles of smiles for those who care (note : full version of the interview will appear online shortly after the magazine hits the shops) so, we are now smack in the middle of winter, the days are short and the mood is grey. somehow my recent purchase of speakerboxx/love below by outkast doesn't seem to fit, luckily though 'suck my deck' by ivan smagghe does sooo much more for me. dark and nasty electro dance monsters sits alongside electroclash-y styles .. excellent stuff. also i should mention that ever wonderful john doran (he of the excellent organ grinder column for playlouder) has submitted his rundown for the ATP event that occured in early december. online now in the usual place : here give me a day or 2 and we'll get some new mp3's sorted - though i have yet to figure out of what exactly .. evil ed, quasimoto, annie .. oh the choices. onwards ! mark e ireallylovemusic
