on monday, 21st november, sees the first record in ages that has really got me quite excited. my old mucker, akira the don, releases CLONES. his third single, and i think the first time he has released anything that hasn't been created on his laptop/fruity loops computer setup, subsequently the sound is MASSIVE. lots of seriously big electro noises, big fat alice cooper samples, and words coming at you large and proud involving bashy alongside akira. oh, and seeing as people have high hopes for this the song has a radio friendly hook that is large enough to sort out jaws. pop hit par excellence. keep your eyes peeled on the website, if adam is up to his usual tricks, expect a very nice slice of animation to complete the package. for collectors, the full set includes a limited signed 7" version and more easily obtained cd single. damn, if the album is anywhere as smile inducing as this then i am going to be one very happy individual.
