grand mal vs the electro groove

grand mal : just a note to advise that one of my fave indierock bands have relaunched their website. having heard their latest 2 albums proper i soon fell in love with the bill whittens take on glam stylings, bowie-esque moods and dirty rock-n-roll riffs. according to bill, the new set of songs available via the site, are better than last years demos, which has me somewhat keen as i still play the demos a lot. classic 70's david bowie (hunky dory period) style matched against the usual grand mal rolling stones riffs .. i mean really - who needs more ? i will post one of the 'lost' demos next week. this week though, has seen a serious dig into the now passe scene of this electro revival. hurray for janurary sales ! futurism2, kraftwerk ep, martin gore cd/dvd, crossover have all been added to the ever increasing pile .. best thing so far is an old ep by radioactive man - 'fed-ex to munchen', dark basslines, breathy vocals. totally wonderful and not what i expected at all. oh, and the new roots manuva album is totally ace. onwards ! mark e ireallylovemusic
