^^ the return - part 1 ^^

hello.

 

having been offline for a couple of weeks i guess i should start spreading the love and news on the stuff that awaited my return to ireallylovemusic hq.

however, first things first. in the next few days i hope to post the interview i sorted out with yarah bravo. she features on the new excellent one self album alongside dj vadim and blu rum so i wanted to find out a little more - should make a good read all being well.

 

also, strictly kev has put together a dvd soundtrack package. it's not legit by any means, he has rescored the 60's monkees movie 'head'. the film and score have been aired at various arty places around the country but for those of us who have to stay in and do the ironing he has come up with a way of getting more people to see and hear the results. a mini-interview and details on how to get the film/soundtrack to be posted in the next few days.

 

as well as that, i hope to get a few reviews done and dusted. there will be a quick rundown by the end of the day, and more to be added.

 

here's a quick list : baikonour, the black dog, supergrass, the black velvets, goldblade, lazarus, the chicharones, part 2, jackson and his computer band, lotek, dj kentaro, pest, the dandy warhols, field music - and thats just the albums ! if i ever get up to date it will be a bloody miracle.

 

oh, and should anyone be interested i may even tell you just how 2 days in a tent (not at a festival ! with 2 kids and wife!) ended up ...
