23 august - new bits

to the great unknown quantity that is the blog reader,

 

today i posted an interview with noodle from gorillaz. it's going to appear all over the place as most of this stuff usually does (hey i didn't really interview now did i..), but read it without any flashy shit here

also, one of the best labels at the moment - memphis industries - have got around to releasing the first album by field music. the album didn't work for quite a while for me, too many twists and turns making my head spin, but eventually the penny dropped and i succumbed to the glory of their power pop, more detail in the usual place.
